The EZ Connect 2.4 GHz Directional Home Antenna from SMC Networks provides an extended range solution for your wireless network hardware. This 6 dBi directional antenna supports virtually all 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi standards, including IEEE 802.11b, 802.11b+ and 802.11g. By adding this antenna to your Barricade Router or a wireless PCI adapter (both with detachable antennas), you can improve both signal strength and quality, and also increase the total coverage area. This antenna features a directional antenna panel that allows you to focus the wireless signal into a specific area. Supporting a plug-and-play installation, this antenna can be setup in seconds. Simply remove one of the antennas from your Barricade Router or PCI card, connect the EZ Connect and you are done. If you connect the EZ Connect to your PCI card, place it on your desk and point it in the direction of your router for optimal performance.
